The room was spacious and beautiful yet minimalist. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom had a large tub which was very much appreciated. In the morning, we had free breakfast and there was a bit of everything. The spotlight goes to the natural juices and the different kinds of delicious breads. We had gone to visit the Feira medieval de Óbidos and it was a very short walk away from the gates. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would love to stay again. ((The photos we took were at the end of our visit, the room was pristine when we arrived))

The hotel was so interesting, cool, and beautiful! If you are a book lover, book (no pun intended) this hotel now! The rooms are well decorated, the bed was so comfortable and our room had a tiny balcony. We had a delicious breakfast that was included in the room rate. We opted to grab dinner and a drink at the hotel's associated restaurant and it did not disappoint. Obidos was our favorite place and this was our favorite stay of our entire trip!

Loved all the books. The front desk people were so nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was divine. The staff was always smiling and friendly. The bed was comfortable. Loved the old timey look and feel of the place. And it’s a book lover’s paradise. Took me awhile to walk anywhere in the hotel bc there was so much to see. Loved the generously big bath towels.the location was perfect.

captivating concept. the room had a small balcony overlooking the yard. hotel is outside the city walls and not inside which was good - still very centrally located but quiet and not crowded. room was very nice. Dinner in hotel restaurant was amazing - one of the best of our entire 10 day trip. staff was attentive and kind - gave us recommendations, explained about the hotel etc.

A fun funky place to stay, eclectic and nooky ... staff was very friendly, food was good, loved all the books and places to immerse yourself in reading/relaxing. Very near to castle, easy to walk everywhere, had a nice vibe! Also they are so accommodating with keeping your luggage stored if needed which was very helpful.
